A changing skin after forty

Dermatologists agree that male skin loses moisture and collagen more rapidly after the age of forty. According to Harvard Health Publishing, collagen production decreases by about 1% per year from age 30, and this process accelerates after forty. The result? Fine lines, duller skin tone, and slower recovery from stress, lack of sleep, or intense workouts.

Men’s Health (2023) reported that more men are integrating skincare into their daily routines — not to look younger, but to look fresher, more energetic, and more confident.
